Capability

One operator, the whole production spine.

Trained as a sound engineer before film school, then a decade running camera, story and edit. I can carry a project end to end, or take a single seat on a bigger crew.

  • Sound design and studio workflows
  • Offline and online picture edit
  • Delivery to broadcast specification

Process

How a project actually runs.

No mystique. Four stages, clear deliverables at each, and nothing hidden until the final cut lands.

Stage 01

Brief and research

What the film is for, who it has to move, and what it must not do. Desk research, stakeholder mapping, community access and a written treatment before a camera comes out of the bag.

Treatment
Stage 02

Field production

Recce, consent, scheduling and shooting. In sensitive settings this means repeat visits and relationship first, footage second.

Rushes
Stage 03

Edit and sound

Assembly, rough cut, review rounds, sound design and grade. Contributors see themselves before anyone else does.

Stage 04

Masters to your specification, cutdowns for social, and where it fits, a screening and dialogue programme so the film keeps working.
