I'm Khoisan, Not Coloured

Five years in Hangberg, Cape Town, with a community fighting for the right to name itself. Identity, dispossession, police violence and belonging. Directed, produced and edited by Shatho Tibone, with cinematography shared with Kurt Orderson.

Now teaching material in anthropology, psychology and decolonial studies at universities across Southern Africa.

Botswana's GBV Pandemic

A nationwide educational documentary series on gender-based violence, commissioned through the FNBB Foundation. Thirteen episodes, thirteen rural and urban communities, from Kasane to the Kgalagadi.

The production engaged survivors, activists, traditional leadership structures and policy stakeholders. It examined the social and psychological weight of GBV while opening national dialogue on prevention, accountability and healing. Producer and director.
